So thrilled to share our second Stag Hair Parlor Presents video featuring Katy and Tod of La Sera. We have been big fans of theirs for years and they are on regular rotation at the shop.
Watch the gorgeous Katy get her beautiful ginger locks trimmed, chit chat, and preform a tune from their new record "Music for Listening to Music to". This record is as vibrant and genuine and they are.

Big thanks again to Katy and Tod
In the age of modern technology, trends can come and go before you have a chance to refresh your Pinterest feed. Here are a few styles that achieved some longetivy throughout 2014. We hope some of these stick around for 2015. Others, maybe not so much. Cast your vote below!
There was never a better year for growing your hair out. The influx of long bob haircuts (aka "lob") suddenly made that transitional period between short and long hair less of a journey and more of a destination.
Braids are no longer reserved for elementary school children and swedish farmhands. Preferably messy and of the "milkmaid" variety, braids have become an acceptable solution for transforming your bedhead into something prim and pretty.
The '90s are continuing to bombard the fashion world. Going strong in 2014, the effortless flip flopped its way back onto the hair scene -- and by effortless, we mean surprisingly impossible to perfect.
Wake up, leave the house. Um, can this be a thing for FOREVER?
Ok, so people have parted their hair down the middle for years. These days a low-volume look coupled with a dark, prominent brow, makes the center part stand out even more. Assymetric faces may want to steer clear.
Don't try to call this a bun. It's a knot.
So. Many. Top. Knots.
No need to imagine what your boyfriend would look like with your grandma's hair. This one's pretty self explanatory. You either love them or think they're ridiculous.
This list may not even begin to scratch the surface of last year's hairstory*. We'd love to know what you think! Leave us a comment and cast your vote!
*See what I did there? hair + history = hairstory.
